Valerie Mouratoglou and her husband Eric Kakaras jointly purchased 10 properties in Memphis through the Axis bulk wholesale strategy. 2011 has been a good year for Memphis, Tennessee. Now, Memphis is set to receive a further $190 million boost with a new Electrolux plant. Expected to begin operating in 2014, the plant will employ 1,200 people and create hundreds of additional jobs in secondary businesses such as supply and construction.

As the Bank of England says it will inject a further £75 billion into the economy through quantitative easing (QE), governor Mervyn King says: “This is the most serious financial crisis we’ve seen at least since the 1930s, if not ever.” In an interview with the BBC, King continues: “When the world changes, we change our response.” People with assets and also being advised to grow them and ensure they create a safety net with savings.
